Weather drawing #2
I am pleased to announce the pre-release of weather drawings, a new limited‑edition series that revisits and reinterprets material gathered during a 2014 artist in residency within the Canadian Rockies. Each work is a pigment print on transparent film (11 × 14.7 cm) and comes mounted to a sheet 3mm Framers Acrylic sheet (final size 18 × 25 cm), giving the piece a refined, floating presence that shifts gently with changing light.
The series has three variations, each observing a different weather shift. These new works draw directly from the original large‑format negatives created during the residency, returning to the source material to explore how atmosphere, light, and environmental change can be seen anew through contemporary processes.
Produced in a strictly limited edition of 25, each print is accompanied by a certificate of authentication. The project extends the lineage of the sold‑out artist book Elemental 1:1, which documented temperature variations recorded during the same residency. Weather drawings continues this exploration, each variation reflects a different weather pattern, continuing my long‑term engagement with climate, observation, and place.
